Brussels Blues?

I've been browsing a few blogs, Belgian related, and I'm kind of sad to see how much people dislike it here. Maybe it's the transient nature of Belgium's expat community that brings them down.
Seems the government has fallen apart again, too. It's a funny sort of place.
I'm looking out of my window at work at the sun and blue sky and depsite everything I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Seems the bluebells might be out, shall we go and see them?

    I'm very new to this blog / house renovating thing, and have just come across yours. I had to read it from the beginning to get the full story on how it came this awful situation, and am just astonished.

    There has to be a solution - the Schaerbeek Urbanisme HAVE to intervene, and this guy has to not just stop, but also take action to rectify the damage caused so far and compensate you for the rest. I have been here long enough to know that the Belgian authorities have a very particular way of working, but they do get there in the end. I see you are heading for Court - I guess that's the best way to find a solution if these insane people are not going to be reasonable. Are you happy with the advice you are getting?

    Good luck with it all - I'll be checking in regularly!!
